How many tandem jumps?

Before you book — please confirm

  • You must be 14 years or older to do a tandem jump.
  • Jumpers under 18 (minors) need written consent from a parent or guardian.
  • Each jumper must weigh 100 kg or less.
  • Arrive at the airfield at least 40 minutes before your window — for check-in, the indemnity form, your briefing and kitting up for boarding.

Good to know

Age & consent

Minimum age 14. Jumpers aged 14–17 must have a parent or guardian sign consent on the day. Bring ID.

Weight limit

Maximum 100 kg per jumper, for the safety of the tandem harness and canopy. Please be accurate.

Arrive 40 min early

Get to the skydiving desk at least 40 minutes before your window for check-in, indemnity, briefing and kit-up.

Payment

R4 890 per tandem jump. Pay in full or a 50% deposit now, balance before the event. All payments non-refundable.

Weather

Skydiving is weather-dependent. If jumps are grounded by conditions on the day, the operator will arrange an alternative window.

Operated by

Tandem jumps are run by an independent SACAA Part 105 approved parachuting operator at Big Water Airport (FAGA).

Gariep Fly-In 2026 · Tandem skydiving is a third-party operation. By booking you agree to the operator's indemnity and safety requirements completed on the day.
